A bit jerky, but very impressive. That was tracking pretty well once it was moving.
Can it also track shapes?
We are currently working on making code that will allow it to track different shapes, we are hoping that we will be able to write something that combines shapes and color so that way it is much more accurate and less jerky.
Good tracking from a couple of feet away.
How is it to find a distant marker? Is there a horizontal/vertical camera range limit? Say to find the green light in the 2007 or 2006 games, where it is up high and across the field. Is there a range of blues that it looks for, or is it fairly narrow?
It seems to have gotten distracted at the end of the second video by the other blue. Have you tested how bad this can be? (The Boston arena is awful in this regard: a stripe of colored lights on the seating wall right in light with the camera view.)
It's good to know that a team can make the camera work!
