Default New release of LabVIEW missing Gyro vi's

I just installed the LabVIEW update 3 and now I can not use the Gyro vi's.
    The Open works.
But when I insert a "GetRange" I get an error saying that it can not fine: Gyro.lvlb followed by some other Gyro things.

    Where did it go?

    Thanks

I just had the same problem. When it gives you the file window, if you browse to C:\Program Files\National Instruments\LabVIEW 8.5\vi.lib\Robotics Library\WPI\Gyro, you can select the requested VI.

It looks like both GetAngle and Close have this problem.

A couple files changed their permissions (public vs private) which causes the loader to think the file is missing. As Joe mentioned above, the fix is to manually browse to the correct location and select the file mentioned in the dialog.

    Thanks!
Is there a way of changing the file permissions so that we don't have to go through that process each time?

Once you point it to the file and everything gets saved, you shouldn't have to do it again.

This problem seems to be 3.0a as well.
