I keep getting this error. Its been holding me back for the past 3 days. I checked the forums and I got something that said to update the cRio but all those links were dead. Does anyone have the exact solution to this? The communication button is lit on the classmate, the only problem is it has no code. I have moved over from Labview to netbeans.

Yes, you do have an old version of the software - both the cRIO image and Java SDK.

Follow the directions on http://first.wpi.edu/FRC/frcjava.html, under "Getting the Software" to update both the latest NetBeans modules and the "mandatory LabVIEW update".
