    Default FMS Lite (2010 vers.)

I am scheduled to scorekeep the P.A. Robot Challenge [PARC] off-season event on May 8th, and was curious if anyone knew when/where the Breakaway FMS lite download will be posted?

I'd like to mess around and familiarize myself with the FMS/FMS lite differences ahead of time if possible.

I'll have something available within the next day or so. The 2010 version of FMS Light is pretty much the same as the 2009 version.

Where did you post the 2010 version of FMS Lite for Breakaway?

FMS Light (version 1.5.55) is attached.

This version of FMS Light has been tested with Windows XP SP3.

Microsoft .NET 3.5 SP1 is required to run this version.

This version of FMS is nearly identical to the 2009 version. The documentation for the 2009 version applies for 2010. The 2009 docs are available at the bottom of this page.

We tried using this software and ran into problems that we could not overcome. The FMS Light program crashed repeatedly and had trouble getting the start button enabled. We did verify the proper version of .NET, and the FMS did connect to all the robots that were running, reporting the expected feedback (i.e. battery voltage etc).

I did notice that the system reported a mismatch in the drivers station SW image version mismatch for all the robots that were playing. However, all robots had the proper updates from the 2010 season. What version is the FMS system expecting? Any other suggestions in how to make the FMS Light work?

Our event fell back to running in practice mode with manual start of each driver station.
