    Question Any ideas regarding the math puzzle printed on the mat?

    That is a really small number, for sure. The units can easily be inverted to s^5/m^3, but that is still a very small number.
    Wolfram-Alpha didn't uncover anything terribly interesting

    Any other ideas out there?

    My best guess is that it has to do with Planck scale units - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Planck_scale. I was able to fiddle around with them and get the right order of magnitude (10^-44), but not the correct number out front. However, even if that worked out, I would still have no idea what that has to do with this year's theme.

    I was just playing around with this some more and think it's the product of the gravitational constant (G) and Planck's constant (h). For the physicists here, it is h and not h-bar.

    G = 6.67384 * 10^-11 m^3/(kg s^2)
    h = 6.62606957 * 10^-34 m^2kg/s

    When I multiply these, the product I get, 4.442213 * 10^-44, is correct, but the units come out to be m^5/s^3 which is the reciprocal of what is given. I still don't know what this has to do with the challenge for this fall though.

    I was just wondering if there was any more insight into this math puzzle? Will anyone ever tell us what it really is? Or are we left to guess for the rest of our lives?

    This one's got me stumped. Last year I couldn't even FIND the puzzle! I figured out Senior Solutions and my daughter figured out Food Factor so between us we're getting about 50%
