Window Motor Wiring

Hello,
Is it legal to solder short leads onto the window motors rather than use the 14-16 ga female quick disconnect terminals from Terminal Supply as outlined in the tips and good practices manual?

Yes. This would be considered a necessary step to enable a permitted modification to the motor, as noted in the third bullet of Rule <R36>.
