Basic Kit Bot Cannot use bumpers

I know you may not change this but please admit...

1) That if you use the supplied chassis in the allowed length and build it how the demo shows
2) Use the supplied wheels
3) Add wheels in the chassis to get over the top of the ramp.
4) And Build bumpers that way you suggest.

You cannot get up the ramp because they hit at the bottom. Even if you cut them up the way it was suggested in a recent posting. We have tried it on paper and in reality and it does not work.

Please allow a front and rear bumper that is only 2 1/2 wide using 1 noodle or tell everyone it cannot be done.

All FRC games have multiple challenges. The basic robot built per the demo was never intended to solve all aspects of any particular game. There are many solutions to solve this engineering challenge. We suggest talking with other FIRST teams to explore possibilities, such as different wheel configurations, gaps in bumpers, additional wheels, etc.
