    Default Bumper rule revisited again

I know you are tired of answering bumper questions but we have another.

Due to the design of our robot and the ramp clearance we cannot use two pool noodles. Would one pool noodle be allowed as long as it stays in the bumper zone? We would have it completely around our robot.
If not, we will run without bumpers

If we choose to run without bumpers, what is considered damage, within the bumper zone of another robot? Our robot will have no sharp edges.

If we run without bumpers and collide with another robot that has expanded out of the starting footprint and they do damage to our robot, will they be penalized?

Thanks and keep up the great work.

Bumpers must be constructed as specified in Rule <R35>, including the use of two pool noodles on a 5 inch tall plywood backing board. For your other questions, please refer to <G22>.
