Ah, that was before I started with FLL. I found pictures of the No Limits game, and it does look like fun. One of the models from the bottom shelf in the picture are the stairs from No Limits.

Moving the CD was an interesting challenge and climbing the stairs difficult. "Play Ball" was the shared challenge. The center hoop was worth 50 points and many teams raced to be first to the hoop. One of my favorite FLL moments was when a robot leisurely drove over to the hoop after completing several missions, popped out the other table's ball and replaced it with their own. You wouldn't believe the uproar.

Oooh, ancient history on the second shelf - the tower from City Sights (on it's side).

Where was this mention of "stairs" for the upcoming FLL challenge?

I would assume this year that there will be slightly more pieces in the field kit this year because usually it costs $65, instead this year it costs $75.

Edit: Has anybody's field kit shipped or arrived yet?

I emailed FIRST asking about the shipping situation, as last year we received our kit before they even told us they were shipping. The representative said they weren't allowed to ship until after August 1st, and when they were shipped we would get an email with the information and tracking number. Still no email from them!

We are team number 270. Do they ship in numerical order? We were 5029 last year and we got it on July 31st.
