I came across this at Leggo Education, the NXT kit includes the rechargeable battery and that is a bargain at 279. The downside is that there are fewer parts.

My bad. I looked at the parts inventory and didn't see a wall wart. The new battery doesn't need an external converter and I mistook the charging cable as a long NXT wire.
Still doesn't come with software (education versions assume you'll get a multi-seat license for the entire classroom), but a great bargain if you already have one NXT and are looking for additional resources for your growing team. |
