Thumbs up LabVIEW and Driver station interaction

1. It seems one way to use LabVIEW programs developed on computers other than the Classmate netbook is to transfer via USB stick and copy into LabVIEW Data folder. I assume this needs to be the whole project file.
Is there another way to run project files from another computer?

2. The literature seems to emphasize a different IP address for the Classmate used as a DS and anyother computer to prevent contention. Under what conditions would both computers be in a network with the cRIO at the same time?

Default Re: LabVIEW and Driver station interaction

Well, if you connect another computer to the same network (wirelessly or wired), you can deploy code from it.
I think that should answer both questions.
As for the IP address for the second computer, I would recommend something between 10.25.50.10 and 10.25.50.50.
However, if you just set this computer to connect via DHCP, you should be just fine.

Hope that helps!
