Default Axis M1011 Camera Setup

Hello;

We are trying to follow the "How to configure your camera" documentation, and the camera is not accepting what the the documentation says is the default user name and password.

In this case root and pass. As I understand the documentation, we need to change the password to admin to get the camera to work through the cRIO.

Has anyone had this problem or know a way to rest the password on the camera back to a factory default?

Default Re: Axis M1011 Camera Setup

For those who may have the same problem we have a solution:

Reset to factory settings, this is achieved by:

1.Disconnect power from the camera.
2.Press and hold the Control button and reconnect power.
3.Keep the Control button pressed until the Status indicator flashes
amber (this may take up to 15 seconds).
4.Release the Control button. When the Status indicator displays
green (which can take up to 1 minute) the process is complete and the camera has been reset.

Then you can then go to 192.168.0.90 then you can configure your password to gain access to the setup.
