    Another question:

During field timeouts in semis and finals, is the six minute timout to be used? It wasn't this weekend at Indy where I was scorekeeping (minus an actual coupon'd timeout), but having listened to this week's recording, it sounds like it is to be used?

Or is this an FTA/Head Ref's preference thing?

Hi. The Field Timeout should be used when there are back-to-back matches. See section 5.5.6 of the Game Manual.

      Re: Field Timeouts

Should we start it automatically at the end of the match?
Wait for scores to be committed?
Ask the Head Ref when to start?

The Timeout button cannot be pressed until after "Post Results". So the process at the end of the match is Commit -> Post Results -> Timeout

I suggest talking with your FTA and Head Ref so that they are on the same page about this process.
