    just a little feedback
This version of the software was used at a 40 team, 3 round tournament on 12/1
    everything worked great
    (a separate timer was used)
the zoom in on the display looked good everything scaled nicely , on a projector and a large screen.

      Thanks for the feedback.
It seems that the timer is working well now too (from other feedback we've received).

If the timer is working well, we can use that on our next one as well, we were just on a pretty tight schedule last weekend and didn't really have time to work out timer bugs if they popped up.

Using v1.3 at a 24 team tournament, no issues noticed (one machine running as server & scorekeeper, second machine as scoreboard and timer, third machine as scoreboard).

One suggestion: thinking about the~1 second gap between when the timer shows zero and the buzzer sounds, it seems that the clock is showing the truncated seconds (without tenths) and the buzzer is sounding at "true zero". If so, please change the timer to always round up when displaying seconds, so that the timer shows zero at the same time the buzzer sounds? This helps folks who like to "chant" down to zero seconds keep in sync with the system.

We have a bug open on the synchronization of the sound. It's not consistent but mostly the big delay is on first use. I'll add what you report to the bug.

I'm looking for feedback on the Timer reset issue that we dealt with in v2018.1.2 Has anyone seen Timer reset issues since 13-Nov-2018?

Slightly off-topic. Who is responsible for the "Liter than Lite" package that handles awards determination?

Skip Gridley is likely the author of the spreadsheet based on the document properties. Kathy Morgan at FIRST would be another good contact.

Thanks. Turns out that it seems to assume that Excel has AutoCalculate turned on, and it doesn't check for that or give any warnings. Without AutoCalculate enabled, the spreadsheet accepts your data and sits there not generating awards. It took an hour and an Excel expert to figure that out.

                      Hi Alan,
My region is going to use these tools for our state championship in a couple of weeks. Few of the referees have ever used it, so I'm a bit nervous about training.

I see on the fll-tools site that there is a "Try the Demo" page at this URL...
                      http://www.fll-tools.com/software/features/scoring/

... but it doesn't seem to be working (continual timeouts and sad face icon).

Can the demo still be used?

No, the demo is not available anymore. Thanks for pointing out it's still on the site. However, you can download and install the software - very straightforward - and play around with it.
We're releasing an update right after the weekend - exactly the same as the current version except for a new logo for the global sponsor, Rockwell Automation.
Tom, I also sent you an email - hope I have your address right.
