  • Using Driver Station router service to connect IP camera to second computer

We have an IP camera that we want to route to a second computer networked to the Driver Station.
We has set static IPs, enabled routing,/started router service on the Drivers Station, connected the Drivers Station to a private network using 192.168.1.1/192.168.1.2, and are using the Drivers Station as a gateway between the two devices.
The only thing that is different on 10.3.59.x is that the camera (10.3.59.10) uses the Drivers Station (10.3.59.5) as its default gateway.
Is the FMS going to block the traffic between the second computer and the camera?
    Thanks

    Hi Randy,

This is not a configuration that has been tested and we will not have time to do so prior to Week 1 events. My suspicion is that it will work, but I am certainly not positive.

      Hi Kevin,
Thanks for the reply. I guess I will alpha test it at Del Mar. I'll let the FTA know what we're trying. Maybe I'll get chance to do quick field test before practice starts.
