We are looking at the substantial increase in the PC hardware requirements for Autodesk Inventor Pro 2015 (http://knowledge.autodesk.com/suppor...-products.html). The requirement that caught our attention is the requirement for a minimum of 8 GB of memory. Our team is currently running CAD PCs with Autodesk Inventor 2013 which needs just 2 GB of memory minimum.

Yet when we install Autodesk Inventor 2015 on a Win7 Pro 64-bit PC with 4 GB of memory it seems to work (but not fast) with our last season's robot drawings that were done with Inventor 2013. Note that the same Autodesk Inventor Pro 2015 requirements state that it supports 32-bit Windows which, of course, can't even support 4 GB of memory. All this means we can't determine from the requirements if we'll have to replace CAD PCs or not.

So a question is this: what version of Autodesk Inventor will FIRST be recommending for use by FRC teams during this coming build season? Autodesk Inventor 2013, 2014, or 2015?
