  • Robo Rio not Receving Code

Hello, we are experiencing a problem with the RoboRio and would greatly appreciate any help. While attempting to run code onto the RoboRio, we are getting the error "C:\Users\Team 3597\wpilib\java\current\ant\build.xml:239: Remote command failed with exit status 1" as well as nothing showing up in the logs as we attempt to run the program. We have tried this with a student made mecanum drive program, as well with a sample mecanum drive program, and we are getting the same errors. We've re-flashed the RoboRio with the current software available and we are still getting the same error. We understand that it is towards the end of build season, but any and all help is greatly appreciated, thank you.

That error message is not particularly helpful without context. Any of the remote command run on the roboRIO as part of the deploy process could potentially exit with that code and mean very different things. Please post the full Console log from a deploy attempt.

Install the JRE on the roboRIO by following the instructions at the link provided in the console message.
